What we don't want to do is to release a book filled with people promoting their business, products or services. That's not inspirational or life changing - it's boring! There will be a link on your page of wisdom, in the book and the ebook, that directs people back to your profiles at New Age Directories were you can advertise to your hearts content. In other words - that's what the website is for.

The aim of the book is to HELP PEOPLE. We ask all authors to share their decades of life experience and wisdom and write one page of wisdom that displays their own unique point of view about "What is the meaning of life?", "What is the secret to life?", and "What is the point of life?" - something that makes a great inspirational book of wisdom!

We do not accept:

  • Consequently we don't accept any submissions that contain references to businesses, products, or services (that's what the New Age Directories website is for and the book links back to your New Age Directories membership profile). Why? Click here
  • Any reference to a particular religion, spiritual group or organization.
  • Any material that is not in some way new age, spiritual, alternative, wholistic, new thought, esoteric, quantum, or consciousness based. IE we don't accept plumbing tips!
  • Material that is more than 700 words. 700 words fits our template and we can edit 350 words, maybe even 400 words if we really have too. Any more than that and we will not have time or resources to edit the material.
  • More then one submission from the same person or member
  • Material submitted after the submission deadline (payments will NOT be refunded). Read the agreement for more details
  • While there are "fair use" rules covering free use of small excerpts from other writers published work (at most a paragraph or two, and in support of your own discussion), in this project we encourage you to write and submit your own original work (ideals, point of view, expertise, etc). It's YOU we want to publish - not someone else. We will only accept excerpts if it is a necessary part of your submission and only if you have written permission to use another persons work.You must guarantee that your the majority of your submission has NOT been plagiarized, stolen, or already sold to another publisher.
  • If you have added your favorite quote or saying then you must cite the author of that quote or saying, to the best of your knowledge. We ask you to carefully research each quote or saying as the editorial team will not have time to do so and your quote or saying may be deleted if not properly cited. otherwise you cite the author of that quote as "Traditional Saying" or "Author Unknown"
  • We do not accept racist, derogatory, negative, defamatory, dangerous, preachy, or offensive material - obviously
